Hello, we are Alan and Sarah Ayres and we have been long term residents and hoteliers in the Lake District for the past 18 years. We welcome you to the Woodlands Hotel website and hope it contains all the information you need to plan your trip to one of Englands most stunning destinations: The Lake District.
We could tell you about our beautiful 15 bedroom non-smoking boutique hotel in Windermere, just a short walk from Bowness and Lake Windermere. Or a little bit about the way we go that extra mile to source fresh local produce for our breakfasts. How about our lovely, comfortable ensuite bedrooms, with the focus on style and comfort and the complimentary pass to Parklands Country Club's leisure facilities during your stay.
The thing is, most hotels say they do all this, but then guests feel a little let down once they arrive. Our main purpose is to exceed all your expections and we work hard to encourage our guests to return to Woodlands year on year. We are regularly voted the most popular hotel in Windermere on TripAdvisor and our guests are incredibly loyal.
